Trouble removing host via webGUI

Problem: I cannot remove a few hosts via the webGUI. The hosts no longer exist on the network, so I think that may be causing the error as we cannot “communicate” with those hosts to remove them.

Expected outcome: Hosts removed from Foreman.

Foreman and Proxy versions: 3.7

Distribution and version: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Other relevant data: I was also curious if there was maybe a command to use via CLI to force-remove the hosts from the Foreman instance.

There’s a setting to also remove the host VM when deleting the host; you may try turning that off?

That setting is disabled… I wish it gave me an actual error so I could investigate it further.

You can try via CLI, the command is hammer host delete I think?
