Ubuntu and debian in disconnected foreman

Problem:
I have managed to export CentOS and RHEL content from my Internet facing foreman server but can’t work out how I can do the same for Ubuntu/Debian repositories. Has anybody managed to do that successfully?

Expected outcome:
hammer content-export version [complete/incremental] for my Ubuntu Content view exports my Ubuntu content view.

Foreman and Proxy versions:
Foreman 3.1.0
Katello 4.3.0-06

Distribution and version:
RHEL 7.9

I am pretty sure this isn’t possible at the moment, since the underlying pulp_deb plugin does not implement any import/export functionality. While the long term goal is always for pulp_deb to be feature equivalent to pulp_rpm and for Katello to make full use of that, I don’t think this will happen any time soon for import/export.
