VMWare Provider with Dynamic Boot Disk selection

Hi Foreman Team,
We want to use the VMWare Provider with Static and DHCP Networks with the boot disk based Installation method.
At the moment we change the Host Boot Disk Template to generic if DHCP Deployment is needed.
Can there be a Button implemented to choose which type of Bootdisk you want to use, per Hostgroup or VM ?

Hi @pwoehl,

That is something we can look at adding in the future, did you want to file an RFE/issue in Redmine so we can track it?

I figured it out, I created a new iPXE template which covers both, but it is also possible to configure it on the OS Level which iPXE Boot Image it is using.
