Activation key question

Problem:
when creating an activation key and assign a content view i need to additionally add the products of this content view in subscriptions

Maybe i dont understand it completly but what effect has adding a (composite) content view containing the products when it is needed to additionally add the products?

Expected outcome:
as contentview already contains the products these product should be automatically assigned to the activation key

Did you publish your CV? I do not remember, that I needed to add the product (at least not in satellite).
