we set up our Foreman Instance quite fine by now. Are there any does or dont’s to add a puppetdb to this setup? Foreman is installed with installer-defaults, ideally the pupated is installed to the same host as well.

Adding PuppetDB is a common use case for exported resources, we have a
plugin to handle some quirks with it and ensure a smooth ride:
Other than installing the plugin, I don't think there's any other
recommendation

thanks for the head-up. I will defenitely install your plugin, once puppet-db is working.
So I just follow the steps described at puppetlabs to install puppetdb to the existing foreman host?
