Azure deployments

Is anyone here doing deployments to Azure at the moment? If so, how are
you doing them?

We're reluctant to use the Azure provided RHEL images, or upload our own as
'gold' images go out of date pretty quickly. We have a specific set of
builds that work pretty well within the corporate network, but PXE and ISO
are seemingly not permitted in Azure.

Cheers

Nobody doing anything on Azure yet?

Doesn't look like there is any work going on to add Azure as a Compute
Profile. Which is sad.

It may not be my platform of choice, but it's the platform of choice for my
bosses boss.

There was recently a survey sent out to this list asking if users are more
interested in Azure or Hyper-V. I would suggest that you voice your
opinion using the survey. Check list archives yesterday.

https://elobato2005.typeform.com/to/a5Yciu is what he's referring to.

I'm not closing the survey, it was an attempt to see if the community
was strongly for one or the two options, and build that one. So far:

Azure - 59% - 10 responses
Hyper-V - 41% - 7 responses

OK - I missed the survey when it was posted. I tend to "Mark All as Read"
if I've not been on the list for a while :-/

Would be a shame for either Compute Profile to be delayed to be honest; I'm
sure there are more than a handful of Hyper-V and Azure deployments out
there. For us, it's Azure though. To all those desperately wanting
Hyper-V, sorry, but my vote goes to Azure.
