Hi all!
Is there a detailed tutorial to provision a new bare metal server with
foreman (in my case ubuntu)?
I'm trying to make PXE installation in VMware environment and everything
looks goog in the beginning:
vmlinuz and initrd are loaded and then I got message - Operating System not
found.
What steps should I do in Foreman GUI (or CLI) to make Foreman to use any
image?
Thank you
I moved a little bit from my previous mail so
I have to give some more details: after vmlinuz and initrd are loaded the
OS installation starts and
- I have a menu to choose language for the installation process
- location zone (for time zone)
- keyboard layout
and now I got menu says: Your installation CD-ROM couldn't be mounted
… Retry mounting CD_ROM?
I choose - No, and it says - Installation step failed.
Since this step I go to the pxeconf.cfg/default menu again
I stuck at this point, What I'm doing wrong?
Any advise?

Minor: bare metal = running directly on physical hardware.
If you are trying an installation in a virtualized environment (eg
VMWare), it is not bare metal.

OK, I agree, though I have both - physical hardware server waiting for
and VMware environment I'm playing with for now
what about my question?
