Bonding primary interface

Hi,

In 1.7.2 I'm trying to put a bond on the primary network interface
(bonded with secondary) of a CentOS 7host, but this doesn't appear to work.

There is no ifcfg created for the bond and the bond is nowhere to be
found, in the GUI it's listed as "Interface (Up)" though.

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Met vriendelijke groet, With kind regards,

Hello

Unfortunately it's not possible to specify primary interface identifier in
Foreman 1.7 and therefore you can't list it in attached_devices attribute of
the bond. Primary interface identifier is set with first puppet fact upload,
the it could be possible in theory, but it's too late in provisioning.

This is fixed in upcoming Foreman 1.8 since the primary interface was
extracted and has all attributes as any other interface.

Hope this helps
