I am using the Foreman Vmware plugin. Is it possible to automatically import to foreman all the hosts detected by this plugin (visible in the Virtual Machines tab)?
Or the only way is to create a custom script? If it’s the case how can I use vmware’s compute plugin api to fetch the hosts detected?
Those hosts were not provisioned by Foreman, they were created earlier.
Expected outcome:
Import all vmware hosts to foreman.
Foreman and Proxy versions:

You would want to register them all using Global Registrations then on the Virtual Machines Tab, you can do Associate VM’s and that will associate them to Foreman to allow for build options to manage them with Foreman besides Katello.
