Problem:
When issuing the command during install time:
echo “password” | realm join --user=username domain.local
The join does not succeed.
Upon the next boot /etc/krb5.conf remains the default config.
However, issuing this command on the command line, after boot, succeeds and /etc/krb5.conf contains the correct information.
Expected outcome:
/etc/krb5.conf to have the domain added and the machine added to AD.
