When I try to remove a smart proxy I get an error “proxy.mydomain.com is being used by a hidden Host::Managed resource”.
What is a a “hidden Host::Managed resource”? How can I remove the proxy?
My Foreman version is 1.20.
Solved.
I had to delete the Proxy Host itself before I could delete the Smart Proxy entry

Yes this applies to most of resources, few of them has cascade delete. Usually when you delete a host, everything associated with the host (e.g. reports) is deleted too.
