Problem:
We have our discovered hosts allocated to orgs by subnet. However sometimes it’s necessary to reconfigure this after they’ve discovered to foreman. While we’ve found some information on how to do this via the UI, we’ve been unable to track how this could be done via the API.
Bug #8148: Allow editing taxonomy on Provision Host form - Discovery - Foreman relates to modifying on this when provisioning, however we’re not actually wanting to provision the host.
Feature #4426: Allow changing/setting of organisation and location in the "Provision Host" screen - Discovery - Foreman also relates but again is only through the UI.
Expected outcome:
Capability exists to change a discovered host’s org via the API.
