Change satellite 6.6 to latest foreman

Hello, I wanted to know if it is possible to do the following, currently we have redhat satellite 6.6, which we only use to send SSH commands and updates of rpm packages to the operating system to the servers.

My idea is to install foreman and do the same, is it possible to do it? I read the documentation a bit, but can’t find anything regarding sending SSH commands and doing rpm updates.

Hi,
it is possible to run SSH commands with foreman_remote_execution plugin. For content related operations, you want to take a look at Katello.

If you plan to use Katello, please note that it cannot be added to an existing Foreman installation (unlike other plugins), so you need to install Katello with Foreman from the start.
