I’m trying to use a cloud-init template when provisioning on VMware. I selected the user data checkbox on the image and ensured the cloud-init template is associated with the right OS version. I also ensured that template was selected on the Templates tab under that OS version. When going to create a new host I press the Resolve button under the Operating System tab expecting to see the cloud-init template but only see the user data template and not the cloud-init template. What am I doing wrong?
That might be a bug, cloud-init was added later than user-data.
