I'm new to Foreman and have followed the quickstart guide. I've got some
hosts manually added, so don't really want to start over. During the
interactive install "foreman-installer -i" I forgot to select the option to
configure foreman_compute_vmware. What do I need to do to configure vmware
compute (without having to start over).

Hi Patrick,
welcome to the Foreman community. You can re-run your installer anytime
later and add the option, e.g.
$ foreman-installer --enable-foreman-compute-vmware
It will update your existing installation.
You also might be interested in VMware notes in the docs [1].
