Problem: Currently, the project I support has a yum repository set up on a vm that they manually update packages on when they need to update something. This has caused a problem because the kernel is up to CentOS 7.7 level, while he rest of the packages are at 7.6. Due to COVID, we are way behind in patching. I’m defining a satellite server so that I can control updates better. My first task is creating a content view with the same versions of packages that are in the current yum repository. Does anyone now how I can accomplish this?
