Discourse edit open window

Hey,

when we launched Discourse we agreed that for people who are reading via email we would disable possibility to edit posts after 5 minutes. I was for, however after I corrected about a hundred of mis-formatted posts I am changing my mind. I hereby propose to open the window more:

  • one day
  • one week
  • one month
  • one year
  • forever

I don’t see the option to keep the current option. I’m strongly in favor of keeping the current option. I really don’t like a post changing after I’ve read it. I also still read most posts via email.

Since I don’t see my option, I’m not voting.

This was not intentional, but when I try to edit it ironically I am getting “You cannot change a poll after the first 5 minutes.”

Since you already have two likes, let’s keep it then.
