Hi all
The missing public messages should now all be restored - apologies for the notification spam while I sorted this out. Sadly we can’t restore private messages, likes, poll results, solutions, uploads etc, as they’re not part of the public record, but at least we got something. Some new users were also lost - their posts are currently owned by @system but I can transfer them back if they re-create their accounts.
If you believe some forum messages are still missing, or notice that anything is wrong, please get in touch, and I’ll get it sorted.
This should draw the whole nasty episode to a close. In a few days I’ll have the automatic hot-snapshots running, so this should be even less likely in future. Thanks to everyone for their patience during the process.
