we have a new plugin release 6.0.0 for Foreman 1.12. The code name is -
I am joking!
This release brings new modal wizard with Quick Create action and fixes
several bugs.
This update adds the following permissions to existing Discovery Reader
role: view_architectures, view_domains, view_environments, view_hosts,
view_hostgroups, view_media, view_models, view_operatingsystems,
view_provisioning_templates, view_ptables, view_puppetclasses,
view_realms, view_smart_proxies, view_subnets and the following
permissions to Discovery Manager role: create_hosts. This was required
because provisioning was not possible to non-admin roles (see #9306 for
more details).
Please review these roles carefully after update!
There is a known issue with CLI discovery plugin not coming up
correctly, we are working on a fix and release new CLI discovery hammer
plugin next week:

We are not touching discovery image for this release, just upgrade the
