Hello all,
As far as I can see in the Foreman installation page
<Foreman :: Manual>, the
current version 1.7 does not support the latest puppet version 3.7.x (aka
4.x)
Is there any plans to support this version? If so, when will it be covered?
Also I would like to know whether anyone has already given it a go and how
it worked, major issues seen? incompatibilities?
Any info would be much appreciated.

Puppet 3.7 is not 4.x (from what I know). Also, we are using foreman
1.7 with latest puppet (3.7.3)

Is it safe to use Puppet 3.7.x with Foreman 1.7.1?

Confusingly Puppet "PE" 3.7 is essentially "4.0" since it is using the
Puppet Server built on clojure vs the older 3.7.3 Open Source ruby server.
So Puppet Open Source 3.7 is compatible with Foreman. I'm not sure Puppet
Enterprise 3.7 is.

Yes, it works fine.
I imagine this line in the manual is supposed to cover everything newer than 3.6 and less than 4.0:
3.6.0+ 1.4.3 or higher 1.5.1 or higher
