Dropping el5 client support

With the move to Foreman 2.0, or with the move to Katello 4.0, I’m curious if at that time it would make sense to go ahead and remove el5 client support as well.

Moving to a new “x” version feels like a natural boundary, and would help free up some koji resources and reduce packaging work related to el5 compatibility. As well as free up client tools from having to support those older language runtimes.

Thoughts?

Looking at the client repo, the only thing we currently package for el5 is katello-host-tools and katello-host-tools-fact-plugin. So to me it would make sense to drop el5 support with Katello 4.0.
