Since a recent update to discourse, e-mail notifications for actions on the site have stopped working. This likely is due to an issue with the events plugin which we use - https://meta.discourse.org/t/email-jobs-failing-after-updating-to-latest/125066/.
We are hoping the events plugin maintainer will fix this soon, as we rely on it for making the events category work properly, and I would like to avoid disabling it if possible as that may lead to issues with the category.
The issue has been fixed in the plugin and I have upgraded it to the latest. Mail notifications should now be sent again.
