Esxi 5 with Foreman 1.6

I understand that this issue has come up multiple times but cannot see a
resolution for the same

I have new foreman 1.6 setup and have successfully provisioned a esxi 5
thru foreman. This is a standalone esxi and I am trying to provision a VM
on the same.

According to the documentation, it needs to be clustered setup but I have
used the hack as on url Feature #1945: Better VMWare support for non-clusters setup - Foreman

But now I get the error "unable to save Mac can't be blank". I see multiple
people facing this issue but haven't come across a resolution for the same.

Also it would be really good if you can point me to video / link / anything
that helps me setting up vmware(clustered / standalone) with foreman

Regards,

Rakesh K.

Any Help ???
