Excecute Run Puppet from Foreman, with class restriction

Cesar,

Welcome to the group. At this time I don't think that command is possible. However, whenever the mcollective integration is complete you might want to perform this task with mcollective, but that would require mcollective installed in your environment. Are you planning on installing mcollective?

Thanks,

HI Forman users,

this is my first post in this group, so I hope anyone can help me with this. I have been looking on internet but I cannot find a proper solution for my problem.

I succeeded to perform a “Run Puppet” directly from Foreman. However, sometimes I do not want to run the whole catalog. Instead of that, I would like to select the class (module) to deploy.

I know that this can be done by using the CLI command:

puppet kick --tag my_class_to_deploy host1

All my classes are properly tagged.

What is the best way to do this (if possible) directly from foreman??

Thanks!
Cesar
