Foreman 1.23.0 has been released!

Foreman 1.23.0 is now available! Big thanks to everyone who tested the release candidates, contributed fixes and especially to @ekohl who has been handling most of the technical work of building this release.

This release brings over 230 bug fixes and new features!
Some highlights include a new login page, user impersonation ability for admins, merging of the userdata plugin into core, experimental Redis cache support and much more.

There is one known issue in this release with an incorrect naming for the puppet 6 repo in the puppetlabs provisioning template snippet, that will be fixed in 1.23.1 and can be manually modified if needed.

Congratulations to the team and namely Tomer, Ewoud et al!

I would like to add that this is the very first version which makes it easy to migrate from MySQL to PostgreSQL since we plan deprecating it in near future. For more details head over to Foreman :: Dropping support for MySQL

But let’s celebrate today! :champagne:
