Foreman 1.5 feature freeze actions

In about a week I plan to branch for 1.5-stable, which means new
features for Foreman 1.5 need to have been merged into develop by then.

The major features which I think can be completed before then, with some
co-operation from the following people, are:

  1. #813 - LDAP user group support, PR waiting on Daniel Lobato Garcia
  2. #4250 - compute profiles API, PR waiting on Joseph Magen
  3. #4155 - API VM association and disassociation, PR waiting on Jason
    Montleon
  4. #2929 - CR encryption key in RPMs, PR waiting on Lukas for review
  5. #4380 - VMware guest OS selection, PR waiting on Martin Matuska
  6. #3914 - default org/loc for users, PR waiting on Daniel Lobato Garcia
  7. #1809 - FreeIPA install templates, PR waiting on Stephen Benjamin

If you disagree with the status, please comment on the PR so we can get
it moving again. I'd appreciate folks treating these as high priority
for the next week as we try to freeze features. Help from other
reviewers is also much appreciated.

Bug fixes will continue to be merged through to 1.5-stable throughout
the RC period, so don't worry about these.

Thanks all.

What about #4204 - config groups? If the angular code or jquery code is ready for merge in time, I hope it can be part of 1.5.

I'm afraid I don't have capacity to review this in time without dropping
everything else. Perhaps others do?

I'd like to know that the config group concept is secure too and really
does solve this problem in the best way (Greg?).

I promise to finish off testing of this one by EOB. Made this more
difficult for me trying to automate installer testing with koji builds.
But it looks nice now:

https://github.com/lzap/bin-public/blob/master/fvb

fvb -n t97281 – "KOJI_BUILD=http://koji.katello.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=97281"

I have similar for beaker:

mybkr -t /Satellite-6/Installation/SetupKojiRepo \

-t /Satellite-6/Installation/Foreman-develop
-p KOJI_BUILD='http://koji.katello.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=97281'

(This one will only work in Red Hat network, but it does work the same
way - it use foreman-bats testing framework on our infra.)

I can try and look at the config groups, once I have finished with the
discovery stuff. No promises.

I'd also add #1312 to the list, since we reverted the code in an
earlier release. Dominic, did you have any more comment on that?

Bug fix, not a feature, so it'll go in. I don't, it's waiting on you I
think and then I'll give it some testing.
