Hello,
when I click “save” in a host group the content of the field “Content View” is always deleted. Reopen the same host group always shows an empty field.

It’s not that it’s not saved, it’s just that it doesn’t show in the UI correctly.
The fix Bug #35834: Setting a Content Source is not persistent - Katello - Foreman should land in Katello 4.9.0.
