Foreman case studies #1 - Lark IT

Hi Foreman-ers!

We will kick off our case studies series with an interview, where we
plan to discuss what led Lark IT (Denver-based Linux and Windows
consulting firm) to choose Foreman to provision their servers, how does
their deployment work, what plugins do they use, and much more. All the
nitty gritty details you need to decide whether to use Foreman or not in
your next project!

Tommy McNeely is a valued contributor to the Foreman project. You can
find him on Github as TJM (Tommy McNeely) · GitHub or as TommyTheKid on IRC (
and #theforeman-dev). He started the foreman-digitalocean plugin a few
months ago!

You can join the Hangout as a viewer and ask questions live on the Q&A
section.

We will record the hangout and it will be published on Youtube right
after it concludes. We plan to write up a summary of the topics
discussed and publish it on theforeman.org afterwards too.

See you there, and let us know if you want to be featured in a case
study as well!

For foreman-devs, I'm going to write a bit of a script with questions
and stuff like that, but I'd like someone else to join me and conduct the
interview together. Any volunteers?

This is focused at new users for promotion of Foreman?

What's the "series" about?

We just did it, thanks to everyone who attended and asked questions:

Not focused on that, but I think new users can refer to these case
studies to confirm their use case can be fulfilled with Foreman. Already
existing users can benefit from it as well and ask questions, and
contributors can learn about what's missing, pain points, and so forth.

Basically interviews with users who are keen to share the details on how
they work with Foreman, why did they choose it vs other solutions,
explain how their use case looks like, and Q/A with other developers who
would normally not ask about specifics of the installation.
