Foreman Duplicated OS's

Hi

I have a attached a screenshot of the Foreman UI. I've noticed since a
rebuild and upgrade to 1.14 that we have duplicated OS's when selecting for
a host. The OS's are not duplicated under Operating System's under
"provisioning setup". Is this a bug or is there a way to fix it?

Thanks

I forgot to mention that "Media" and "Partition Table" menus on a host are
also Duplicated.

Hi!

Thanks for the help, yes that worked for the OS's but not the Media or
Partition Tables :frowning: I will play around and see if i can fix that.

Thanks again

Hi James,

We also ran into this issue today and the workaround for us was in "Hosts
-> Architectures -> i386|x86_64" Deselect all the items under "Operating
Systems" and hit submit, then go back and select everything back in and hit
submit. There is a chance you might fix the duplicates in "Media" and
"Partition Table" with the same procedure.

Cheers!

The workaround for us was to Deselect all items under Operating Systems
under "Hosts -> Architectures -> i386|x86_64" and hit submit, then Select
All items back in and hit submit! You can do the same for Duplicates in
your "Media" and "Partition Table" as well.

Hope this will help you!

Please open a redmine issue, if you haven't already. Thanks!

Hi James,

We got around the Partition Table duplicates by going into the Operating
System, choosing the Partition tab, unselecting everything, submitting,
then going back in and adding them back. Media was the same thing.

For some reason, when doing our migration/upgrade, we ended up with lots of
random duplicate entries in the media_operatingsystem,
architecture_operatingsystem Postgres tables and doing these unselects,
saving, and adding back has cleared out those duplicates.
