Foreman-installer doesn't install properly without any warning

Hi all,

I'm trying to install a smart-proxy to use as a TFTP / PXE relay.
I used the foreman-installer and the only error I get in the installation
log is "[ERROR 2014-04-15 15:51:46 main] Your puppet version does not
support progress bar"

Nevertheless, foreman-proxy is not installed (neither as a service nor as
config files)

Does anyone have an idea ?

Installation command :
*foreman-installer *

  • –no-enable-foreman *
  • –puppet-server-ca=false *
  • –no-enable-puppet *
  • –enable-foreman-proxy *
  • –foreman-proxy-puppetca=false *
  • –foreman-proxy-tftp=true *
  • –foreman-proxy-tftp-dirs=/var/lib/tftpboot/ *
  • –foreman-proxy-tftp-root=/var/lib/tftpboot/ *
  • –foreman-proxy-tftp-servername=x.x.x.x *
  • –foreman-locations-enabled=true *
  • –foreman-organizations-enabled=true *
  • –foreman-proxy-foreman-base-url=https://foreman-proxy.servername.domain
    *
  • –foreman-proxy-oauth-consumer-key=key *
  • –foreman-proxy-oauth-consumer-secret=secret *
  • –foreman-proxy-register-in-foreman=true *
  • –foreman-foreman-url=https://foreman.servername.domain *
  • –puppet-ca-server=foreman.servername.domain *
  • –puppet-server-dynamic-environments=true *

The foreman server is installed as a RHEL6.5 with foreman 1.4.2 and does
function properly
The foreman proxy-server is a RHEL6.5

Yannig

Can you try with -v option if it helps?
