is anyone using Foreman with Microsoft DNS ?
During the provisioning period of a new host, foreman-proxy makes a dynamic
update in the DNS zone with TTL 86400 (default). After the provisioning
phase foreman nor foreman-proxy updates the DNS entry for the Host to
extend the TTL aging time.
The MS DNS performs a cleanup (scavenge stale resource records, no refresh
interval, refresh interval) after a while (2-5 days) for obsolete DNS
entries, even if the host is still alive (but no one (foreman nor host)
told the DNS Zone entry that)
