Problem:
We have installed 3 foreman proxy servers on different locations, which is not listed in UI Smart Proxy’s list.
Expected outcome:
Foreman and Proxy versions:
1.22
Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:
1.22
Distribution and version:
CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core)
Other relevant data:
Installation was successful we can see those servers in “All Hosts” but not listed in smart proxy tab.
Kindly help me to fix this issue.
Hi,
as far as I remember, smart-proxys always start out without locations associated to them.
Open the smart-proxy page and set location and organization both to “any” via the top menu. Then you should see the smart-proxys and can set the organization and location accordingly.
I think that is beeing worked on to be more intuitive in the future, but currently, this should still be the way you have to do it.
