Greyed out "synced content" and Products, Content Views

Problem:

There are two. First, I couldn’t create a host due to the synced content showing as greyed out.
Having found this solution and actioning it, I was in the process of building a new CV. I have created Products centos-8-base, centos-8-appstream and centos-8-base-kickstart.

When creating the new CV, do I have one centos-8 with the kickstart and another without and have the host change CVs or can I add all three products to the same CV and the underlying will work it all out?

Hey @Lachlan_Musicman,

I believe all of those repositories should be added to the CV of the host you are provisioning. It’s been a few days so I guess you got it working!

@Jonathon_Turel thanks for the reply.

I ended up building it on RH8 and did add everything to the CV.

I am having trouble post boot - the server has installed and booted successfully, but now it can’t find the repositories?

I asked a colleague who said he had only ever had the kickstart repo as a separate CV - but I’m finding that the synced content remains greyed out when Kickstart is the only product in the CV.

Is there a minimum product list needed for synced content?

Yes, there is - Kickstart, BaseOS and Supplementary.
