How to change ip adress from managed machine? (Debian)

Hi all,

So, I can install a machine and run my customized scripts during install.
Now when the machine is installed, it changes the ipaddress. (if I put a static ip in foreman, the install gets in a loop and keeps installing it)

So I found out that if I don’t put a static ip, it runs well, but how do I change the ip adress from within foreman? (I don’t want to change the ip myself, I want foreman to do it)

Can anyone help me with this one?

I am not exactly sure what are you trying to achieve and what’s what you’re getting, but when you install on a subnet that has DHCP Boot mode set to Static, Foreman should set static IP address you define in Foreman.
