Hi,
I am provisioning a Ubuntu 22.04 desktop from a foreman proxy although I see
Finished GET /userdata/user-data with 200 (943.91 ms)
in /var/log/foreman-proxy/proxy.log the desktop tries to provision using a user-data file with the same name as the foreman proxy server and fails when trying to use yum commands (the file in /var/log/cloud-init-output.log shows the failed userdata).
I expect to see the desktop provision with the user-data file that foreman creates for a ubuntu OS.
The server was recently upgraded to foreman 3.6.1 and katello 4.8.0. My proxy is 3.6.1.
If I provison using the proxy I haven’t upgraded yet (version 3.5.3) the provisioning completes as expected.
I tried downgrading cloud-init to the previous version but this made no difference.
Any ideas?
Many Thanks,
Tania
