Is there an api to update multiple hosts at the same time?

Hi,

I see in the foreman production.log file, when modifying multiple servers
it leverages /hosts/multiple_parameters but I don't see any reference if
using the api/v2??

Is there an api doc for it?

It strongly depends on what you're trying to do. You're correct in
saying that this specific call isn't part of the API - but if you can
tell us what you're trying to do, we may be able to advise on another
way to achieve it.

Cheers,
Greg

So, currently I'm using the RESTapi with a perl script (perl modules JSON
and REST::Client) to add servers from discovery into hosts with
default/required host parameters we need for our environment. Once that
is done, I would like to be able to use the API and basically change
attributes (ie: mass build by just setting a group of hosts "build=1" or
change an entire rack OS template currently assigned.)

Hope that helps?
