You could see this as a follow up of [Infra] Jenkins Job Naming Conventions
We just merged a PR that documents the naming convention. There are some changes in the patterns because we had collisions (katello-nightly-release would both be used for the nightly package and the nightly repository).
Please have a look and notify us if we’ve missed anything and if it’s clear. Soon we’ll start renaming to follow the patterns.
