[Katello 2.2] checksum algorithm for RHEL5 clients - changed?

The repodata for RHEL/CENTOS 5 Katello clients,
https://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum/../client/RHEL/5/x86_64/,
has been created with the sha256 algorithm. My Katello server is running
CentOS6, which copes, but the repositories are then published locally to my
CentOS5 clients who don't. Were they previously sha1 (as I'm sure this
worked for me before)?

Actually, the locally published repo is created with sha1 (when I select
it in the Foreman UI - I misunderstood what the menu option did and have
since found the previously open/closed bugs). So I have another issue…

Ahh, ok, this is actually my issue:

I've added a vote.
