Katello 3.2 (Malt Liquor) released

We are happy to announce the release of Katello 3.2 (Malt Liquor).

One notable change in 3.2 is the support of Puppet 4. More info about
upgrading to Puppet 4 can be found here:

There is one notable issue with capsule installs in 3.2 documented here:
http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/16653
The work around is to re-run the capsule installer. We are working on a
permanent fix and decided to not let this bug delay the release.

Just a note that some packages still need the rc3 label removed, but they
are the latest packages. We are correcting the labeling ASAP.

Hi,

Upgrading from Katello 3.1 to Katello 3.2 for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
following the instructions, I found two problems:

In the documentation, this link is wrong: yum update -y
http://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum//katello/el7/x86_64/katello-repos-latest.rpm
It should
be https://fedorapeople.org/groups/katello/releases/yum/3.2/katello/el7/x86_64/katello-repos-latest.rpm

Also, after having the Foreman 1.13 and katello 3.2 repositories added,
when running yum update a 'repoview' dependency fails:

–> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: pulp-rpm-plugins-2.9.1-1.el7.noarch (katello-pulp)
Requires: repoview

Hi,

You are completely right. I disabled epel because in the migration from 3.0
to 3.1 it gave me some problems. After enabling it again it works.
