Known Issue

  • SHA 1 ‘Yum metadata checksum’ support on repositories is now removed for security purposes. There is a known issue (Bug #37609: Migrate sha1 repos only at the next edit time - Katello - Foreman) that repositories with ‘Yum metadata checksum’ set to ‘sha1’ will be migrated to ‘Default’, but the published contents in Pulp will continue using SHA 1 until the next time repository contents change. This is planned to be fixed in 4.13.1, where repositories will have their ‘Yum metadata checksum’ values migrated to ‘Default’ only once the underlying Pulp contents change as well."
