Checking the services running on my foreman server after upgrading from 3.18.3 via 4.0 to 4.1 I have noticed that the systemd squid.service is still enabled. However, I don’t see any indication in the foreman-installer katello.log that it is installed or enabled. I assume it’s save to remove squid from the server?
Squid is indeed no longer used with Pulp 3, but its removal is missing from foreman_maintain/remove.rb at master · theforeman/foreman_maintain · GitHub (which is the closest thing we have to removal docs).
