[katello] Error downloading packages:, python-rhsm-1.13.8-1.el7.centos.x86_64

Hi,

Sorry for all the posts, but I have some time for testing today.

When trying to install subscription manager from our local
subscribtion-manager repo that syncs with
https://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/candlepin/subscription-manager/epel-7/x86_64/,
I get the following error:

/Error downloading packages://
//  python-rhsm-1.13.8-1.el7.centos.x86_64: [Errno 256] No more
mirrors to try.//
//
//error: Failed dependencies://
//        subscription-manager is needed by
katello-ca-consumer-xxx.xxx.xxx-1.0-1.noarch
/

I currently only have our own local Centos repo and the subscription
manager repo installed on the host and the package can be downloaded
fine with wget:

/wget
http://///xxx.xxx.xxx//pulp/repos/////TEST///Library/custom/subscription-manager/subscription-manager-7_x86_64/python-rhsm-1.13.8-1.el7.centos.x86_64.rpm

Does a yum clean all help? I've seen similar errors when something is
odd with the yum cache, especially if it's not a network connectivity
problem.

Nope I have a yum clean all before I create the repo's and try to
install. I'll do some more sniffing around.

I had this same error earlier this week. I noticed my local repo had more packages than were in the upstream repo, so I clicked on the "manage" button for the repo and deleted all the packages. Then I resynced it. After this (and republishing some content-views), it worked for me.

Ah that was it, thanks a lot!

Strange that it had duplicate python-rhsm packages, so there must be
some bug hiding somewhere
