[Katello] Pulp management and using existing Pulp instance

I recently began setting up Pulp for repo management for a HPC cluster. My
use will likely not include the use of the consumer agents but rather to
use Pulp as a means to manage syncing mirrors and keeping mirrors locked at
a specific point in time.

I am hoping to setup Katello as a management interface for Pulp, and so the
VM currently running Pulp I've setup to run Katello. I already had a large
set of repositories in Pulp (using remote MongoDB). I've since moved that
MongoDB instance to the local Katello VM and my scripts that query Pulp
show all my repos however they do not appear in Katello.

My guess is the authentication to Pulp is somehow not working since I was
using the admin account before install Katello. Would it be better to
simply blow away my Pulp database and start over? All the commands I used
are documented, but I'm hoping to replace those commands with the Katello
UI.

Thanks

Hi, unfortunately, the use-case of moving from existing Pulp to Katello
is not supported right now, as Katello serves more than just a simple UI
on top of Pulp.

I would recommend you to keep your Pulp intance for now, and experiment with
from scratch Katello first, finding the workflow that fits you most.

We are currently working on better documentation for Katello usage, that
should help more with understanding how the things are supposed to work.

Is possible to use same NFS export that stores the pulp content?

Thanks
