As must of you know the Foreman 1.8 release is out and our intent from the
beginning with 2.2 has been to release in lockstep. I have decided to delay
the release by ~1 week in order to address an upgrade issue with gutterball
and to allow time to test and review updates to how Capsule interactions
are handled that we feel the final 2.2 release should include.
PS: For myself its not a big problem, because I wrote some private puppet
modules to overcome item1 & 2 with a workaround, and item3 is not a blocker
for me…
I grabbed newer versions of qpid-proton and qpid-dispatch and add them to
our 2.2 staging repositories. The qpid-dispatch should fix 100% CPU time
for qdrouterd. As for gofer, since I have not found a reliable reproducer,
I am upgrading the package in hopes that it addresses the issue. The
qpid-proton version will be 0.9.2 which I realize is not the exact version
you tested against but is the highest "blessed" version I have access to
currently. I will keep an eye out for an official 0.9.3 version.
Sorry I missed this – would you mind filling a Redmine issue for this so
we can properly track it?
Thanks,
Eric
