So migrating from Spacewalk to Foreman-Katello turned out not to be the walk in the park I hoped it would be … Anyway - figured out most of it, just one blocking issue when provisioning a CentOS machine.
In short: working with discovery / hostgroups to deploy bare metal machines. I got at the point where my bare metal machine kickstarts and starts installing. The machine need to pull something like 2500 packages, about half the way, after 1220 packages, anaconda reports download failed, retrying … 10 times - then it bombs out. Always at the very same package (opal - from the base repo). Checked settings, liogs, … no clue what is causing this. Anyone ?
