Foreman 1.16 was the last version using Rails 4.2, but it is long out of support by now.
Why do you need to use an older Rails version? Rails is provided as part of the foreman package (for Debian-based distros) or as an SCL (for RH based distros).

Actually I am upgrading my foreman from 1.15 to 1.18, it is throwing error while installing ruby gem packages beacause i am using rails 4.2,

  1. for Updating foreman 1.18 which version of rails we need to use ?
  2. foreman upgradation is possible with rails 4.2 ?

For upgrades, please upgrade one version at a time and follow the manual instructions for your distro:
