Problem:
I’m trying to install foreman 3.11 with katello 4.14. When trying to enable pulpcore modules, an error occurs Error: Problems in request:
missing groups or modules: pulpcore:el8
. Moreover, there is a pulpcore in the repository, the repository is enabled Expected outcome:
activate modules pulpcore:el8 Foreman and Proxy versions:
3.11 Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:
That’s doesn’t work. Either 3.11/4.13 or 3.12/4.14. 3.11/4.13 is obsolete. Don’t install 3.11. Please check the docs
Again, please follow the docs. It’s nowhere mentioned that you should enable the pulpcore module. There was a pulpcore module in some older versions but it has been given up and the only thing you had to do was to disable it if it was still enabled because the repos don’t provide the pulpcore module anymore.
