MS Smart Proxy

Hi,
I have configured the smart proxy on a Windows AD box using the directions from Foreman :: Manual

However, when I attempt to add the proxy the smart_proxy logs the following error:

ERROR OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_accept SYSCALL returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read client hello A: http request
c:/Ruby187/lib/ruby/1.8/openssl/ssl-internal.rb:174:in `accept

Googling would suggest that this is a conflicting Ruby version issue, but both the puppet master (Linux) and this smart Proxy (Windows) are runnign Ruby 1.8.7

Any idea where I may be going wrong?

Hi,

Is it possible you are using HTTP when you add the proxy and not HTTPS? Looks like an attempt at a HTTP call on a HTTPS socket.
