New Realm "Realm typ Active Directory" How does it work?

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with Foreman 1.16, Katello 3.5 Adding a new realm with Active Directory
I can not found any official documentation around Active Directory

Found this plugin https://github.com/martencassel/smart_proxy_realm_ad_plugin
But can not it to work.

Is that Active Directory supported or is it only FreeIPA

This provider isn’t supported atm, you’ll need to contact the author with your questions.

Hi Mårten

I have a problem to get your smart proxy to work as well.
I have build the gem file and installed it. But when restarting the foreman-proxy the log says:
Disabling all modules in the group [‘realm’]: following providers are not available [‘realm_ad’]
Do you have any ideas where to look
