"No host found" screen after editing a host

Problem:
After editing any host and selecting Submit, I get a “No host found” screen. Steps to replicate:

  1. Go to “Hosts.” Select a host from the list.
  2. Click the “Edit” button.
  3. Make any change(s), then click “Submit.”
  4. Instead of going back to the host’s info page, I see a page that says “No host found.” Please see screenshot.

This happens consistently, on any host or with any location or organization.

Expected outcome:
To be taken back to the host’s page.

Foreman and Proxy versions:

  • Foreman version: 3.6.1
  • katello-4.8.1-1.el8.noarch

Foreman and Proxy plugin versions:
foreman-proxy-3.6.1

Distribution and version:
Running on RHEL 8.8

You should really update. 3.6.2/4.8.4 are the latest version for the 3.6/4.8 release. I am not sure, if that particular problem is fixed there. It works on 3.7.0/4.9.2 though.

the issue you’re describing seems to match this issue[1], which should be resolved in 3.6.2 and 3.7.0 or newer.

Fixed by moving to Foreman 3.6.2. Thank you.
